Please help, I have tried everything and no one seems to have had the same problem.This is the response I got form the Activision Support siteHello and thank you for contacting Activision Technical Support, Make sure that there are no restrictons on your Xbox LIVE account when attempting to play online. Except now it I select "No" or X out, it says "An error occurred while updating Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Zombies (unknown error)". I open Black Ops 2 zombies or multiplayer, pop-up appears asking if I would like to make changes, I select "Yes", black screen, and then repeat. but I have tried everything that I can think of, and it's still doing the same thing. Now at the current moment the "steam_api" thing has disappeared. Except now it started saying that I needed to reinstall steam_api.dll or something? I forget exactly what it was, but carrying on. After that it CONTINUED to do the same thing.
So then I cleared my download cache, uninstalled and reinstalled zombies and multiplayer, etc. Screen went black as usual, and then here I am back at my desktop again. Then the pop-up appeared AGAIN, and I pressed "Yes" AGAIN. And then all of a sudden the black screen goes away, I'm back at my desktop, and it still says launching. I pressed "Yes" and then it disappeared and the screen went black like it was loading, everything is normal except for the pop-up. It would say it was launching in the grey box like usual, and then a pop-up appeared asking if I would want the application to make changes to my computer. again I don't remember the rest 100% but, I tried launching it. So basically I just remember that I went to play some MOTD after watching a live stream, I just felt like playing it. Hold up, let me just start from the beginning (this won't be long). So for the last few days I have been trying to get Black Ops 2 to launch.
